SE Custom 22

Happy National Guitar Day, and Happy Friday! I certainly hope everyone has a chance to play some today!!
Question to the group . . . I was just on the PRS Site, happened to be looking at their SE Series Lineup and I do not see a Custom 22 (Not hollow or semi-hollow) just a Simple Custom 22. Has PSR Discontinued the Custom 22?

Just curious, because I picked up a nice Custom 22 in 2019 and I have thought about upgrading the pickups and pots, was wondering what they actually come with.

I have a 2021 SE Custom 22. No idea regarding 2022.

What a shame. Guess most want 24 frets.

Disclaimer - I’m a rank beginner. When I purchased my SE Custom 22, I asked one of the good players in the shop (the owner actually) to play the 22 and 24 fret versions back to back for me. The 22 sounded just a bit better to me. I think the that the neck pickup being a tiny bit further from the bridge might have something to do with that. Or not. Anyway, I just liked the sound a little better. Seemed fuller, rounder, warmer to me. A bit more vintage, and I’m a vintage guy, at least chronologically…

As I ramble to the point - bummer if the 22 is discontinued. I guess the sub $1k market has lots of 22 fret guitars though.
