I just bought a se cu 24 30th anniversary model, brand new and the neck is over 1mm thicker all over than my older se cu 24? I just measured a new se Navarro and my neck was narrower at the twelth and def thicker in depth the entire length of the guitar and it feels chunky? compared to the Navarro, is the se cu 24 30th anniversary model now shipping with a different neck profile?

The SE CU24 30th Anniversary has the same profile as the older SE CU24's. I have the newer one and just sold an older one. They are both wide thin. See the discussion in this thread for comparing neck profiles.

I contacted prs and they informed me that the new se cu24 30th anniversary models do have a different neck profile here is the answer via email from prs. Thanks for contacting PRS Guitars.

We have made the neck carve on the 30th anniversary Custom 24 SE a bit bigger. This was done in effort to closer resemble the Pattern Thin neck carve on our core Custom 24. Thanks for playing PRS.
So I new I could feel a difference it was a tad thicker ect. so I will keep it and I bought a se Navarro as well and man does it have the wide thin neck profile, awesome.

Wow, ok. So maybe they haven't updated their support page where I copied the info. Well, that's good to know, because I really love mine as well. I wondered why I thought it was better than my old one! Thanks for the update. I do know the Navarro is a CU24, so that does explain the difference. Glad you are enjoying both of your new ones.

Later edit: Reviewing the specs once more, though, that chart shows the Pattern Thin to be the same in all dimensions as the Wide Thin. I just got really confused now. I am not getting it.

yes it definitely not the same as the neck on the older se cu24 for sure there is a fair bit of a difference in the neck thickness on the new one.
