I'm new to PRS and new to this forum. I've just bought an SE Bernie Marsden and have seen lots of call for replacement tuners and folks seem to like the Gotoh SD90 MG locking tuners. It looks from Gotoh's website that there are a few varieties of this tuner (short/long/extra-long) so can anyone tell be the exact model to get for drop-in replacement on the BM? I'd also be interested in the SD90 MG-T with the preferable-to-me large locking "dial"...
Thanks in advance.

The MG-Ts are the ones with the wheel on the back, correct? If so, I believe those will work. I've replaced the Kluson style vintage tuners with those in the past. I installed Phase III tuners on my Bernie, which required reaming and, IIRC, additional holes for the mounting screws.

Hipshot’s web site says that model requires a 10mm hole.

Are the tuner holes in a Bernie 8.8mm or 10mm?

I just bought a used Bernie and a couple of the push-in bushing are rising when tuning up to pitch. I’m trying to find drop in replacement tuners with screw-in bushings.

Not sure on the tuner hole size for Bernie, but John Mann can convert your stock one to locking tuner.

I have a set of his SE locking tuners on my Std22. They’re great.

But his SE Vintage locking tuners still use press-in bushings, and I’m looking for screw-in bushings.

You should be fine. I put a set of these on my SC Ted, which had the same vintage style Klusons as the Bernie. I left the old collars in.
The Gotoh tuners have arrived. Did you use the original screws to install them?

The tuners (Gotoh SG90 MG) arrived and were a simple, drop-in replacement for the OEM tuners on the Bernie Marsden. I didn't have to replace the collars.
Thanks to all for the information.
