Hello all,
Sorry if this topic may have already been covered, I didn't find anything searching.
So here is the issue that has me scratching my head. When tuning my guitar lets say i first tune the low E string then goto tune the A string. After getting the A string up to pitch the low E will be sharp. I could totally understand it if the low E ended up going a bit flat. As you add tension to another string the neck will bow forward a bit thereby slacking the other strings, thats normal. But having the other strings go sharp just doesn't make sense.
I switched form 9s to 10s after buying the guitar but I had the nut slots cut to compensate for the bigger string gauge. Other than that the guitar is completely stock.
Thanks for any suggestions.
