Hello guys 👋🏻

I need help from someone more experienced about this. I'm trying to put an Schaller Rotary ,,P" switch in my PRS CE24 SE, with USA made HFS Treble and Vintage Bass.

1. I've tried the wiring diagram from the manifacturer and it doesn't work at all.

2. My second try was:

1 - Neck Red wire

2 - Volume pot

3 - Bridge Red wire

4 - Bridge White wire

5 - Neck Black wire + Ground

6 - Neck White wire

7 - Bridge Black wire

in this case it works but not completly right, the - 2nd and 4th posituons (split coils) works fine. - 1st and 5th positions are swaped (1st is neck humbucker instead of bridge and oposite)

- 3rd position works bridge full humbucker and neck outer coil 💁🏻‍♂️ but that is not too inportant to me.

I just need the standard CE24 switching positions

1- Bridge

2 - Outer coils parallel

3 - Inner coils series

4 - Inner coils parallel

5 - Neck humbucker

or just to got the bridge pu on 1st and neck on 5th position.
if its possible at all 🙂
Every suggestion is welcome. Thanks 🙏🏻

Hi there, I bought last year the said schaller switch, but it didn't fit either in an Se or in a Ce24 cavity.
How did You manage it?

I could send you my wiring scheme, but i drew up a 4 conductor wiring, so it won't help you. Sorry.

Hello,

Yes you are right...The Schaller switch is way to big for the CE24 cavity. I ended up cutting the switch on the one side about 3-4mm, and another 3-4mm in the inside cavity, that was enought to put it in place.

I suggest You to reach out directly to schaller customer service. They were really helpful last time i dealt with them.
