The Satin Standards to me are just” different “ . Without that poly wrapping the entire body gives a sound AND feel that is so hard to describe tonalally. My Standards (one Satin and one glossy) are fabulous, the Satin is my go to and has been modded with Seymore Duncan Pearly Gates. A trem is in the future. She is quite the attitudinal guitar. Slicker than snot and as rowdy as Billy Gibbons himself ..
