Santana singlecut se

Yeah, that pushes a lot of buttons for me. Singlecut with a trem and 24 frets. New TCI puckups. Not your mommas SE.

Warning! Warning! Thread resurrection! Zombies incoming!

Earlier today in another thread I did a quick mockup of a "normal" Santana with an upper-bout photoshopped in to make it look like a single cut, because someone wondered about whether that could happen. It looks more like a Les Paul than anything else, I suppose.

I then compared the result to the SC594 for aesthetics, and the SE Santana singlecut. I noticed for the first time that, body/neck-wise the SE Santana singlecut is basically an SE (SC) 245 with two added frets further into the body. As opposed to the method used on CU22 vs CU24, or the SE ZM vs the SE Akerfeldt, where the neck is stretched further so the last fret lands at the same place (roughly) in the body, whether 22 or 24 fret.

Can anyone comment on how that feels to plays those two extra frets on the SE Santana SC? It looks a bit awkward, IMHO, and my short fingers would probably struggle.
