Santana SE WF neck question

Been lurking a little while. I have a 2017 WMI Santana SE. I did some searches and I am
under the impression that the neck is a WF. I never really gave it a second thought until
I started checking out the pre 2007 McCarty

The SE neck feels great. I would have to check it but it does not feel like it's .87

The main reason I am asking is I'm interested in the pre 2007 McCarty model. The few
I checked out online say the neck is WF.

I feel it's a dumb question but is the WF neck the same on the import SE as the USA
McCarty?

I had a McCarty back late 90s but I don't recall what the neck was like.

The intended shape and size would be very close, if not the same. But the individual guitars will have variances depending on how much sanding each guitar receives.

I bought a 2002 McCarty and it arrived today. The neck is bigger than the SE for sure.

I’d have to check the year in my WMI SE Santana, but I believe it’s close in age to yours, and it’s neck is a lot smaller feeling than any of my W/F or Santana caves.

I like both necks. I think I like the McCarty neck better.

I measured the neck with my caliper.
At the 1st fret .835
12th fret .945



I had an old Dimarzio PAF that I decided to try. I pulled the original bridge pickup.
