Hi prs fans. I'm new here and new to the prs family. After being a Gibson man for many many yrs I decided to jump in the entry level for prs. Entry level because if they care abt quality with those you know they care abt quality.
This brought me to the Santana SE Standard. I picked one up from Sweetwater on a black Friday sale in 2018.
My question is the description said 22 frets. Yet it came with 24. Def not an issue. I actually prefer it.
The issue is I cannot find another Santana SE Standard with 24 frets anywhere.
Does anyone know if this was just done for 1 yr? Or why I cant seem to come across another one?

Thanks for the help in advance

Welcome to the forum.
Santanas have 24 frets. You will have no trouble getting another, and another....

Thank you for the response. I've noticed most of the Santana SE's have 24. But the standards I have found all seem to have 22. So it def confused me a bit

I have a Sweetwater “exclusive” Santana SE that’s all mahogany and has 24 frets.

It was also listed incorrectly as having a maple top.

Being far from an expert.... Having only recently really been interested in them, I understood that the SE was 24 frets and the Standard was 22 as well. But, it's hard to find good info on these online.

By the way Rob, your image isn't showing up.

Agreed. I kinda gambled on mine.
