I had my first chance to play one of these over the weekend. I looooove the fat, round neck. I could get into that. Weight was as expected for a single cut. I didn’t have a chance to plug it in but....

the vibrato arm felt like a dang toy! Flopped all over the place, seemed smaller than it should have been. Now I’m used to a Bigsby, and both of my PRS guitars are stoptails. But is this the normal PRS bar setup?

PRS does have terrific vibrato bridges, typically smooth and accurate when setup properly. I have that same guitar, works wonderfully and sounds awesome. How stiff or loose the vibrato is, depends on how many springs are used.

It's an excellent guitar. Nearly pulled the trigger several times. Sounds great, awesome playability, sweet neck....the trem is shorter because that's how Santana likes them.

This is what it's based off of, but it has no trem:

Interesting, in that first picture, the neck pup is flipped around so that the screws are toward the bridge.

There's a little set screw behind the Trem (in line with the intonation screws) that allows you to adjust how tight the arm is.
