Salesmen....

What drives me crazy about salesmen (and full disclosure, I was in sales for 6+ years, so I get it) is that they just can't (or don't) ever turn it off!! I get it, you need to feed your family, make your numbers, etc, etc....but when I'm not doing business with you, I'd rather just have you be a real person.

While I realize I'm making a vast generalization, and it's most certainly not true for EVERY sales person....I just wish they would shut it off when they're not at work.

At the risk of this being taken the wrong way, but I'll say it anyway... I wish that PRSh would sometimes "turn it off" as well. In the very limited conversations with him that I have been fortunate enough to have, when I have asked him questions about "Why is this a certain way, etc?", his answers seem to always be very "canned". While I appreciate that he too- ultimately is a salesman of his products- I would like him to "turn it off" and respond from the luthier perspective, rather than the ultimate champion of his product. Perhaps there is no difference with PRSh... maybe he never "turns off" because it's HIM. Those that know him better than me might be able to chime in here on this.

Again- I mean no disrespect here, and I do feel VERY fortunate to have had any of his time at all.
