Probably not for me - I like my "furniture guitars" - but the understated look at a more-affordable price might be exactly what some players are looking for.

Price is definitely right. And I am with you on the pickguard. I like 'em, and they do tend to make it easier to fiddle around with the insides of the guitar without anyone knowing. These things look awesome to me.
Actually, that is exactly what I was thinking earlier: these could become the ultimate platform for PRSi-based customizations. Imagine the possibilities of pickups, switches, and other mayhem that could be mounted on/under that pickguard!
All hog.......will sound killer and looks better than the maple top with that bevel......do a Mira.....Please......and offer it in seafoam greem or grandma hannon pink....
