[SORRY - I should have posted this in the Tech Center, so I have done so. I apologize for the redundant post.]
Hello
I was playing with a friend's PRS S2 Custom and found that the tone control was quite remarkably musical in the complete range 0 to 10. Any guitar I've ever owned is usually just all muffled at the lowest setting. To my ear, it didn't sound simply like a different cut-off frequency for the low pass filter. I'm wondering if anyone knows if there's anything special they do for the tone control, or if it really is just a pot and a capacitor? I looked on their site for the wiring diagram but couldn't find one specifically for the S2 series.
Also, does anyone have the specs for the S2 Vintage Bass and S2 HFS Treble pickups? I'm wondering what their DC resistances are.
Thanks
Mark
