S2 Custom 24 08 - Should I, shouldn't I?

Hi All, I'm thinking about getting an s2 24 08 as a joint special birthday/pre-retirement present (I'm finally giving up the laptop in April!). I cant stretch to the core model and have heard mostly good (and a couple of not do good) reports on it.

Does anyone have one or have experience of it? Sorry but can't see anything about it elsewhere (though perhaps I haven't been looking enough). Thanks v much!

Not too long back I was able to demo my first s2 cu24-08 and it was absolutely the best s2 cu24 I've played to date. Finish, playability, and sound was all top notch, a winner!

Thanks all for your replies and thoughts. I think that's helped me to make my mind up . That's a stunning finish SinSir! I'll have to get it ordered, though as I'm in the UK it'll be a pre-order until we get a shipment on the boat!
