I plan to buy an S2 Custom 22 or 24 and am torn between Black Cherry and Scarlet Red. Sure, I'd better see them in person but that would require a few hours of driving. On photos and videos, Black Cherry looks like the color of dark, red mahogany similar to the color of a cherry Gibson SG, whereas Scarlet Red looks like vibrant red similar to Fender's Dakota Red (or aged Fiesta Red). In other words, Black Cherry looks more like red brown. Am I correct?
