S2 594 DC - Brass Nut

Do I have brass balls to be be installing a brass nut in my PRS? Maybe.

Brighter, slightly more focused, result as expected. I did a better job on this one than the SE Pauls.

I put a bass nut on my SE CU24. It just didn't do it for me tone wise. So i replaced it with a tusq nut.

Yes neck pickup is reversed. For some reason I like em like that.

I’ve never used a brass nut. I did change my nut to bone on my s2 594. Partly cosmetic. But also to match what Paul decided was best for the core line. Still sings greats

Yes. It was noted as "compensated" when the nuts were purchased. I don't notice much difference with intonation. I can hear notes coming from the bridge AND nut/headstock now though, never had that happen before. The sustain is improved a bit more also.

Yeah...Brass Nuts work great on a couple basses I have (But none of mine are compensated) ...Neat piece!!! Enjoy!!!
