Bend it to the Owl!
Back when I started my PRS "thing" seriously last year I had posted I went through 3 S2 594 DC due to a bridge pickup not working, then a finish blem (dot/bubble) and the last one I kept, even though the neck pickup was intermittent.
I finally tore into it after it failed during a session as I'd reached the final level of frustration.
Turned out the far left lug on the neck volume was terribly soldered, dull and blobby. I barely heated it and the wires popped right out of it with no physical connection. After a cleaning and stripping with a wrap around the lug and a fresh solder joint it sounds better than I thought it could.
The covid reached deep on these guitars I think, and I'm glad I could resolve it myself. I wished I hadn't returned the first one if this is all it was.
