Has anyone put a set of rosewood knobs on the S2 low mass tuners?

I bought a set of Tone Ninja knobs from sporthitecxh for my 23 10th Anniversary Cu24
They didnt fit properly
They were supposed to fit Schaller & PRS phase I & II
but they were too loose on the shafts and only worked if the screws were very tight and then the tuners became almost too tight to turn

Just a thought. Put a layer of plastic wrap, or aluminum foil, in the shaft and it twill snug up the space and the screw should tighten against the plastic.

It's a s2. Which should be Schaller compatible? Haven't changed my s2 buttons.
That was what I bought, the Schaller compatible
but they didn't fit well
I haven't tried @AP515's suggestion yet
but it may be my only choice
I was hoping one of us had done this swap

I just did a quick test fit for you.. The genuine hipshot "mini Schaller" also fit Grover I picked up from sporthitech fit the s2 locking tuners perfectly.

Edit- Damn it! Now I'm gonna order a set of ebony buttons for my Vela!
I didnt see them in rosewood
If I have to go with black I will order from PRS as they offer black plastic ones for the S2 tuners

Now that I reread this I want to clarify
Do you mean the Grover knobs from Tone Ninja will fit the S2?
These?

Genuine hipshot buttons fit s2 tuners. Hipshot also fit grover or vice versa. I have a SG that I converted to hipshot tuners and used the stock grover buttons. I'd imagine your linked buttons would work.

Curiosity got the best of me and I did some more test fitting to the s2 since it looks like I'm ordering tuner buttons now. Probably rosewood like you. Not ebony.

P1 buttons don't fit s2.
2 versions of P2 don't fit the s2
Stock P3 buttons don't fit the s2.
An aftermarket set I got with a guitar for P3 fit the S2 with a little man handling. They didn't want to fit but in the end with pressure they did.

Tested and verified to fit s2 tuners
-Stock hipshot buttons
-Sporthitech hipshot "mini Schaller" buttons
-Stock se buttons
-Stock grover buttons

Thank you!

Okay you got me thinking as well & no it didn't hurt!

I pulled a set of knobs off of one of my guitars with Grover locking tuners and it fit perfectly
I pulled a knob off of my Fender Strat with locking Tuners and I did not like the fit
it was loose like the Schallers were
I will order some for a Grover

For the record
