Rosewood fretboard - is it grain or cracks?

Hello all,

Here is a link to a close-up of the fretboard grain on my SE 24. I believe it's rosewood. I am wondering about the grooves in the wood - are they any reason for concern, or are they normal? I took the photo after oiling the wood, which I have not done since I bought the guitar two years ago. I don't live in a particularly dry area.
