Robben Ford with a 594 SC ?!

Well that's pretty cool. Also just saw a video of him playing a vintage LP @ Carter Vintage. That guy is amazing to me - he's a hard core guitar guy but he's so musical.

An observation and an article:

1) Ford properly plays the only way, imho, to track a guitar solo: Standing up, in the studio, so he can get 'body english' while he plays(not sitting in an office chair in the control booth; not that there's anything wrong with that...).

2) The Yamaha NS-10 monitors on the mixing board...Ever wonder why they are still everywhere over the decades? Here you go:

I still have mine that I bought at Audio Associates at Springfield Mall in Northern Virginia in 1978 and I use today with the companion M&K Volkswoofer right here in the home studio. Little did that commission sales guy know they'd be around so long and still used with the same owner.

Just saw a FaceBook post with RF playing a Singlecut PRS while making new TrueFire videos.... wonder if there's an RF signature model in the works?
