Roasted Maple SE’s!

I played a few of the roasted maple SE's today... one, in particular, that really grabbed me. I don't think it sounded all that different than the others (4 total in shop), but this one was set up best for my preferences, and it felt like the neck was just slightly chunkier front to back than the others. Could have just been in my head, but it felt like there was more beef there. For someone who's usually not a fan of the tone of maple necks, I have to say, I was impressed. The maple board was especially nice, I love the smooth feel of maple, ebony, etc. boards. Frets were looked a little bigger than I remember them being on SE's, and I think I remember seeing made in Korea, for those that care about that. Nice, resonant guitar. If I were SE shopping, I probably would've bought it on the spot.
