New here, Howdy, PRS owner many times over the years. Currently proud owner of a 1988 Classic electric in black with maple top and board. just opened it up for a forencic inspection,[ aspiring guitar tech]
The neck pickup is vintage bass, as it should be , but the neck is labeled "Chainsaw", I was told by the seller it was a factory installed "Metal" i would like to put back to original Vintage treble or HFS

The Chainsaw was a very sought after pup, don't see one often.
