RIP, Roy Clark

RIP, Roy.

IIRC, goldtop (hope everything's okay, sir) was a fan.

I remember his live album. Told the folks in the audience that his latest record was doing very well, it had already sold 50,000 copies. If anyone wanted to buy one they could see him after the show, 'cause he had 50,000 of them!
I watched a bunch of Hee Haw clips today to remember him.

Not sure which was the better song, "Yesterday when I was young" or "Thank God and Greyhound she's gone" supreme performer. Will be missed.

Did you see this interview? What the heck was he doing in Safford Arizona? (...about 15 minutes into the interview.)

Roy Clark is my all time favorite guitarist! He is the reason I learned to play guitar. He came along before there was effects and electronic wizardry. It was just Roy, his guitar and amp.
