Not sure which was the better song, "Yesterday when I was young" or "Thank God and Greyhound she's gone" supreme performer. Will be missed.

I remember his live album. Told the folks in the audience that his latest record was doing very well, it had already sold 50,000 copies. If anyone wanted to buy one they could see him after the show, 'cause he had 50,000 of them!
I watched a bunch of Hee Haw clips today to remember him.

When I was in high school I had the honor of meeting Roy Clark and opening up for him.

He was very nice to chat with.

Roy Clark is my all time favorite guitarist! He is the reason I learned to play guitar. He came along before there was effects and electronic wizardry. It was just Roy, his guitar and amp.

Simply one of the best and one of my favorites. IMO, the best stringed instrumentalist, ever...period. Huge loss. :(
