RIP Jack Bruce

I just found out Jack Bruce has passed away. Cream were my favorite band when I was in high school, and I saw them at Winterland in San Francisco in 1968. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Not only was he a great bass player and singer, but he was also a terrific writer and arranger. "Sunshine Of Your Love" was his riff. So long, Jack, and thanks for all the great music.

I was very sad to learn of Jack Bruce's passing this morning. What a talent! So envious that you got to see Cream play! Wish I had caught them in 2005 in NY or London on one of their reunion tour dates. Coincidentally, I just watched the fantastic documentary, Beware Mr. Baker, on Fri. It's a must see for any Bruce, Baker, Clapton, Cream, percussion, and/or music lover in general. Excellent!
