Sad day in music for Canada and many other places. We knew it was coming but that just never makes it easy anyway.

Sigh. Fist saw the Hip in 1986. Good memories! Great band! He will be missed, but his legacy is a lifetime of awesome music (and undoubtedly his family and friends have even more to treasure and miss).

I have a lot of family in Ontario - between The Hip and The Tea Party, my life was filled with great music over summer breaks while visiting them. Gord will be missed.
