Hi all.
Proud new owner of he SE HB2 w/piezo.
I really don't need the volume control or a preamp for my uses on this guitar.
I want to retain the split piezo/mag signals.
To answer the question "why would i want to do this?": two reasons.
The battery swap is a nightmare (as many have discussed) and I simply do no need an independent volume.
I currently run two guitars with Fishman piezo systems and have them wired direct to a second jack to split mag/piezo signals to different Helix inputs.
So....my question is this:
Has anyone rewired the dual output jacks so one is sending mag signal and one is sending piezo only without preamp?
I believe the LR Baggs piezo system CAN run without the battery/preamp, but I have seen anyone talk about doing it the way I'm proposing.
TYIA!
