Resistance of Vela Bridge Pickup(Starla, I guess)

That's what I've been led to believe too. when I look for information on the Starla pickup, it's kind of scant, also. Must not be looking in the right place.

The PRS website lists the Starla pickup as a DS-02, and the Vela as a DS-01. they look the same, but there must be some difference - though I do think they're both based on the original Core Starla pickup.

I adore Velas, but I'm not a resistance measuring kinda guy, so can't help you with that question. It's not a super hot pickup.

Thank you, Aahzz, for the additional clarification on that. I agree. it's not that hot, resistance wise. I do prefer them somewhat higher on the 'hotness' scale.
Given, that's not what it's designed for, with its 'filtertron' layout. I hang out in areas of Metal and Modern Rock. (these days)

Anyone happen to have the resistance readings of these buckers?

I play hard rock with a satin Vela...sounds great....bright and crisp....I found that when I raised the pup right under the strings I got that killer sensitivity ....
