I have a 2003 Tremonti Stoptail I want to put a PRS Tremelo on. Any reason why I shouldn't other than personal preference?

Thanks.

I can't think of any major reason except..

I'm pretty sure the neck angle on the stoptail will be different than the trem guitar. As to whether this will pose a problem I honestly don't know. You may just have to raise the saddles a little more than the norm.

I'd shoot the PTC an e-mail. IIRC they can convert the guitar from stoptail to trem for you.

Unless you have a bond with the stoptail, selling it and buying a trem model could be less expensive.

Thanks. I do have a bond with it. That said, I will just leave it be. Replacing it would run me about $3000.

No, this presents a problem...
