In an earlier post I planned to replace the rotary switch in my Custom 22 with a Freeway switch. In the meantime I changed my plan and decided to use a PRS 3-way toggle (ACC-4101) and a push/pull tone pot with the resistors for coil tapping.
I plan to keep the Dragon 2 pickups, so here are my questions:
1) the current rotary position 3 (inside coils in series) is a favourite of mine. Can that be wired up with the 3-way toggle and the push/pull tone pot?
2) What will happen with the other coil tapped positions (2 and 4) with the rotary wiring? Can these be reproduced with the 3-way toggle and coil tapping? If not, Bridge and neck tapped on their own would be also ok but inside coils in series (position 3) is a must.
In short: is there a wiring diagram that reproduces the Dragon 2 rotary switching pattern (at least positions 1, 3, and 5) with a 3-way toggle w/ push/pull tone pot?
