Repair to Binding on USA Mc Carty Soapbar 2004

Hi all

Just like to say what a superb forum, have just found it.

Hope someone may be able to help, I have a wonderful 10 top 2004 McCarty soapbar which is immaculate bar a small chip in the binding right on the bottom edge.

Could anyone advise as to if this is repairable, even if only to fill in the indentation left by the chip

Luckily it’s hidden away but it still annoys me that it’s there considering the rest of the guitar is mint

Hi Bob,

PRS has a PTC (think of it as the workshop of the factory), in the UK. I'd suggest taking (sending) it to them for a repair. They will tell you how much it costs up front and the repair will be the best that can be done. It's not cheap but it's done right. If it can be fixed they can do it.

And pics, (when you get 3 posts so you can send pics), or it's an Epiphone!
