I was trying to remove one of the tremolo springs on my 513 but it wouldn't budge. Does PRS have it so you can't remove any of the springs? Have you ever done so? There are four in place now.
No...it will come out, just might need some coaxing, if its been in there a while...some needle nose pliers, and pull out from the rear of the trem block...carefully!!!
BTW...loosening your strings first should help.

Taking the spring off the claw end first works. They are tough to get off sometimes. Prs puts a little bend on the hook end so it's not completely straight. That makes them harder to get out.

I’m brand new to PRS and upon receiving my S2 semi hollow custom I changed out the stock bridge to a Mannmade bridge (which was a huge tonal improvement). I almost wound up cutting off the springs but wound up using some needle nose vice grip pliers, which worked great and didn’t mar the block.
