I'm in this weird place...I just keep thinking a Mira made from reclaimed pine would be absolutely incredible! As an ower of mostly opaque PRS guitars, I'm a fringe Forumite in my thoughts on beauty. But, I'd say a roots/homegrown looking PRS would be cool. Kinda like the Satin models, but not. I'm not talking relic'd...just vintage.

Just a thought.

I guess if one were to acquire enough old wooden toilet seats, something interesting could be made(not for me, thanks).

Private builders have been doing this for years, making Fender body copies made from reclaimed wood. Fender seems to be getting most of their recent ideas from reading guitar forums and seeing how people are making their own versions of strats and teles from scratch, or combining various parts to form new mongrels (Pawn Shop series, for example). I love how PRS as a company is pushing out innovation rather than copying what individuals on the Internet are doing.
