Reasons to NOT buy another guitar

The only valid excuse I could come up with was that I was waiting to go private stock so I could get EXACTLY what I wanted. I suppose that's sort the money thing, but only partially. I really was to the point where nothing else would be "good enough". It's not that there were no other guitars I wanted, just nothing I wanted more than to spec everything, pick the woods and all the details. That customization is the only real excuse outside of money.

This is the only valid reason...and the only one that has EVER worked for me (albeit rarely). Before I buy a new guitar...I force myself to look at each one I have and mentally decide which one I am going to play less to make time for the "new one".

Reasons to not buy a guitar that do not involve money?

- you are falling out of a tree
- you are underwater, but only with specific conditions (must involve submarine crash, or sharks)
- on fire (you or the guitar, does not matter)

There are other reasons, but they only get more absurd.

I'm not a collector. I buy for a specific purpose. It cuts down on the GAS quite a bit.
