Why does use of the word "rare" get under my skin so much? I'm lookin' at a 94 CU24 with a broken headstock that is "rare"... true I suppose, as there are not too many around with a broken headstock. Then there is the "rare" SE CU24 Anv. model in blue (he he) that's "rare" too? Or that 94 CE22... awesome for sure... but rare? Not really.

I holler at these dudes and they proceed to tell me how I'll never find another one again, or for such a good price, and that's cool.... I think my guitars are awesome too and I would like a good price if I were selling but.... Do people not realize that eBay and Google exist? Am I the only jerk in the universe that checks completed listings on eBay to see what things actually sell for, and what the demand for such items are, and how common they are before posting a for sale ad?

There's no point in this thread, just needed to vent... If I ever figure out how to use photoshop I want to make a chart like this for PRS guitars:

You're not alone. It's already in the Lexicon. - 4th item down in the "Commonly Misused Terms" section.

Perhaps that was in the back of my mind and partially why I was so turned off, I realize not everybody spends the entire day randomly lookin' at PRS guitars... but... c'mon.

LOL. "Mint" and "minty" always crack me up.

Sea foam green is the only time I allow "mint" or "minty".

I like my tuna rare and steak medium. My "medium" is somewhere between the posted medium and medium rare. There's no deep raw pink color but there is a lighter pink and it usually covers at least 50% of the meat if not more.

I usually eat my tuna raw (sushi or sashimi), if I cook it at all, I only take it this far:

but I like it better like this:

I've never tried sushi. Maybe someday. Back when I ate out now and then, I never could get a place to cook my steak well done enough to suit me on the first try. I finally started showing them my black leather wallet and saying 'I want it burnt THIS color', knowing full well they wouldn't do it, but at least it wouldn't still be mooing when it got to my table. 'It's too done!' 'It's too dry!' 'It ruins the flavor!' Maybe so, but it's my money, so please either cook it how I want it, or I'll save us both the trouble and go somewhere else.

Now I'm hungry too...
