A few years ago I bought a guitar made by the now-defunct Signature Guitar Company who were located in Ontario just outside of Toronto. Signature Guitars are mostly associated with Rush's Alex Lifeson who played them in the late 80's and early 90's before switching to PRS. Lifeson plays Signature Guitars almost exclusively in the video titled "A Show of Fans". In total only about 500 Signature Guitars were ever made

The guitar I own has a couple of surface issues (including screw holes where a previous owner put a P/U ring around the center P/U). I would like to get it restored to original condition but only want to have a real expert work on it because it is so rare.

So is there someone out there I can trust with this gem?

Awesome find...not a big fan of Floyd's, except "Count Floyd"...uh, the weapon...anyway...a guitarist I jam with has been in contact with Koontz, or Thurston, from KT Guitars out of Maryland back in the 80s...pretty sure it's John Thurston, but he moved to Texas(???) or somewhere down towards there.try locating him???did great job on their guitars in the 80 s and their handy work is regarded as top notch by all!!

That is a gem. I did not realize they were so rare. Very wiry sound with the beak headstock. Somehow, I think they were tied in with Godin in Canada. may be a place to start.
