Hmmm. What does this tell you, I wonder?

Ebay electric guitar listings by Manufacturer (as of 4/29/15):

Fender
9190
Ibanez
3920
Gibson
3399
ESP
2407
Epiphone
1866
Paul Reed Smith
1811
Gretsch
1256
Jackson
1117

I have my own suspicions, but anybody else? Thoughts? Conclusions?

I would think (I'm guessing) it's because more people own Fenders than anything else and therefore there are more for sale second hand. Also, Fenders are cheap at the moment, You can pick up a standard Strat new for around £420 in the UK at the moment. I suppose the low number of PRS's show owners don't want to sell them, I certainly don't mine

Also, plenty of dealers have ebay listings. Again, it looks an awful lot like these listings simply reflect the numbers of guitars built, etc.

True there. Just noticed that Wilcutt posted Paul's Guitar Burnt Maple Leaf and a CU24 30th as new listings, so those numbers do change quickly. Interesting.

Plus, heh heh, I just reduced the PRS number by one this morning!
