Random. No more or less

6:19 am and it’s first rounds of morning medications. 5 pills. This is very frustrating to try and get these meds in this little guy. I have to be so worried about not going near the back of his throat. This is like the ultimate puzzle.

He also has his tonsils removed and I don’t know why. No one said anything about that at all. My husband found out yesterday.

I wonder why the took out his tonsils.

Wow, they went to town on Blade! Well, I am sure they did it for a good reason!! Have you ever used one of those pill shooters for animals? When our cats need oral meds, we sometimes use these things that basically look like a syringe, but it pushes out the pill you load into it. This allows you to get it on the back of their tongue easily. You then hold chin in the air and gently massage throat and it goes down. First used one of these about 10 years ago and although we do not always need it, when we do it is nice to have. They are really cheap too (unless you buy them from your vet)! Power to the Blade!!!

Thank you Moondog Wily for your advice. Have to be super careful about getting near the back of his throat. I will phone my vet and ask if I can do this application with Blade’s condition. It’s the capsules that worry me. One bit of saliva and they start to dissolve.

I just realized that my cat talks in her sleep. It's so cute.
I only own dogs, not cats, so I'm not familiar with this. Cats are so "different" to put it mildly, that I've always wondered what they were thinking. If you can share without any confidentiality concerns... what does she say?

Never heard of it actually.
Silk Road was an online black market and the first modern darknet market.[7] It was launched in 2011 by its American founder Ross Ulbricht under the pseudonym "Dread Pirate Roberts". As part of the dark web,[8] Silk Road operated as a hidden serviceon the Tor network, allowing users to buy and sell products and services between each other anonymously. All transactions were conducted with bitcoin, a cryptocurrency which aided in protecting user identities. The website was known for its illegal drug marketplace, among other illegal and legal product listings.

Yet millenia prior to that Silk Road, there was the Silk Road in Asia:

The Silk Road (Chinese: 絲綢之路) was a network of Eurasian trade routes active from the second century BCE until the mid-15th century. Spanning over 6,400 kilometers (4,000 miles), it played a central role in facilitating economic, cultural, political, and religious interactions between the East and West.

The name "Silk Road", first coined in the late 19th century, has fallen into disuse among some modern historians in favor of Silk Routes, on the grounds that it more accurately describes the intricate web of land and sea routes connecting East and Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, Central Asia, the Middle East, East Africa and Europe.
That’s what I thought I would be watching but it was a big fat NO!

This was incredibly interesting. I can’t imagine living constantly on the edge of life!

That is what I would be thinking going into a show like that! I wish the modern "Silk Road" you detailed above had been able to keep it's gates open!! Would have been fun to watch what went on in that world!!!

And I admit, I have not seen nor do I know what the scary show is about, but scary can be good!
What’s intriguing is how the company started up. This was a business that made $50 million a week in drugs, kiddie porn, guns and murder etc. All this guy DreadpirateRoberts had to do is phone up a hit man to have you knocked off just for not liking you or being paranoid of you. He had everything at his disposal. This guy got two life sentences plus 40 years in prison. He will never see the light of day!

The ending is so freaky. Can you say plot twist?!!
