Random. No more or less

I don’t know! Do you? Lol
I used to ask this question, in humor, after some of my work meetings when the leader would ask "Are there any questions"?

I do know the answer.
It's just the light passing thru millions of ice crystals. They bounce off each other and reflect back to your eyes. The reflected light includes all the colors, which, together, look white.
When the snow melts, no more crystals, so the light passing through millions of crystals is interrupted.

One important note: beware of yellow snow. 🫢

This what I like. New info with a backup explanation. Thank you. Learning something even like this because it’s something I didn’t know yesterday.

Where does the white go when snow melts? 🤔
And where do the dandelions go when it rains? Our old (em, former) fastball shortstop couldn't figure that one out...

So on another note, I did a "thing" on Monday. I mentioned it in another thread. I have one more piece to add to the package/puzzle but I have to wait until I know exactly what I want before having it made.

That sounds like a stoner’s question? Lol
Well, while Mel (our SS) wasn't your typical dude's IQ, I don't think he was a 'head' either. He was just naturally a half bubble off plum to some degree. 🤣
For what it's worth, many of our ball fields were quite full of dandelions. And being in the location we are, summer storms appeared without warning quite often. And yes, the dandelions do tend to "disappear" in downpours. Of course, they simply fold in and retract like so many other plants do.

Off to do my resume. I just have to go to the library to use their printer. I can hardly wait to go back to work. It doesn’t really matter what I am doing. I really love working.(in the right environment)

Ppl keep telling me I should be a dog walker.

Have a great day. There’s always something amazing waiting for you when you get through that door. (Your guitar) pick it up and give it some loving

It was chilly and a bit miserable Saturday evening at our function, so my stiff fingers refused to cooperate with the strings and we just sat around the fire staying warm. As soon as the sun went behind the trees the air took on a whole different feel. I was kind of disappointed, but there will be other times.
But more to the point, yesterday afternoon was lovely so I grabbed an acoustic and went out on the deck and played for a couple hours, just me and the pleasant weather with nobody to pester me. Herself is likely strolling down the sidewalk with her sister in Funchal on the island of Madeira so I'm handling the household duties and answering the beck and call of our two feline landlords. It was great food for the soul. No boats or PWC's out on the lake ripping around, just a very warm and peaceful afternoon. Likely one of the very few left before the snow flies, but hopefully not too soon on that front.

This sounds like the beginning of a beautiful novel. Your choice in wordsmithing are so visual. I can picture your whole day ending with a big grin on your face. I am so happy you had a nice day just playing.

I am going on Thursday I think for my final swan song at the beach. It’s starting to get colder. I have my playing permit until October 3. I still have time to get in a few rounds of playing.

@Daryl Jones do you write short stories? You sound like you should be if you are not already. I love the English language. I love listening to story telling, articulate ppl such as yourself.

Your paragraph about your afternoon was amazing. I felt like I was a part of your day. You have a beautiful way with words.

Yes, I thought it was very "writer-ly". You should definitely do more in this vein.....

@Lola , thank-you for your kind words. I thought quite seriously about pursuing writing as a second career when I sold my business. But on investigating deeper, the publishing demands (if you do land a publisher that is willing to work with you) are not unlike getting a recording contract. The demands are fierce and very stringent. Then it isn't fun anymore, and the job is difficult, possibly even tedious if you encounter the infamous writer's block. I have had a couple articles published in motorcycle magazines, one on my own and another as a contributing writer. But that was just fun, not a serious attempt at doing it for money. Never mind fame. I did offer to do the co-author/contributor thing to my buddy in the moto-journalist business, but nothing ever came of it. Which is kind of funny, that's how we met and became friends to start with. That would be almost as cool as being a recording star...getting to travel the world and test ride cool bikes and travel exciting roads in far away lands....😲
@Wyzard, if that was directed at me as well, I thank you for the boost and compliment.
If only I could transfer some of that into writing music with my git-fiddles...🤔
