Random. No more or less

The reason about me asking if you read your manuals was that I was at work. I got a text and it appeared on my new fit bit. The things I can do on this watch are ridiculous! Now Apple is coming up with a very high tech ring that can do amazing things.

My son said Mom did you read the manual? My answer was, of course not.

The earliest we expect to see any sort of details, including the official release date, surface about the upcoming wearable is September 2024 at the annual Apple Event, when the brand often announces its new wearables.

I have an Oura ring that is pretty smart. My daughter and I started wearing one a couple of years ago. It detects activity, measures O2 saturation, movement during sleep, quality of sleep, body temperature.

That's about the time I pick my apples too. And they are yummy.
Not a fan of the Apple/Mac hardware/electronic doodads though. The one i-phone I had has lasted me many years. Not as a communicator though. It's is now just an i-pod with my old i-tunes on my Goldwing motorcycle...like for almost 10 years now. If that ever s**ts the bed I guess I'll have to do streaming or somat else then. Can't transfer my songs over to an Android that I know of. And I like the Galaxy phones better...hated the damn i-phone more than any politician. And I really detest them sumanabatches.

My boy has torn his cruciate ligament. Ben’s hips and legs are starting to degenerate. He’s almost 13. We too him to get fitted with braces for his back two legs. The braces are being custom made and will be ready for him next Thursday. I hope he gets some relief. We got a dollar store bag and cut the sides out. It makes it easier to carry him upstairs. That’s his current state of mobility unless we carry him.

We can’t figure out how he did this..

Sounds Like A Lot Of EMF To Me. No Bueno!

Ben’s new gear! He will be wearing these most likely till late fall. The braces give him a lot more stability. Extremely awkward for him to walk but he will learn to adapt. The braces only come off at nighttime/bedtime.

I just ordered something similar for our 14.5 year old pooch. Curious if he is able to sit and lay down with them on?

They had some sites with prefabricated braces which I didn’t like. I did my due diligence. We instead took him to an canine orthopaedic surgeon who recommended custom fitted braces. He can sit awkwardly and he’s a wobbly walker for now. Each brace has to be fitted individually with the correct pressure each and every time he wears them! It’s tedious at best but my baby’s comfort is of the utmost importance to us.

Just another bump in the road.

I have some happy news. My wife got a job offer yesterday! She'll be the operations director for a large private medical practice. She's been out of work since being laid off in July. It's been a bumpy road of finding a new position that's also a step up in a field that's locally in recession (lots of healthcare layoffs here).

We were pretty fortunate to have built up a nice rainy-day fund. Cut way back on the spending and didn't have to tap into any savings while she was on the beach.

That’s awesome!

That’s beautiful. The stars have aligned perfectly for you both. I am very happy for the both of you.
