Random. No more or less

Are you a critical thinker or a analytical reasoner?
Both. I am an analytical at heart but still use critical thinking. It is common for me to analytically break things down into smaller segments then use critical thinking to solve some of those. I learned about 20 years ago or so that my personality type is not common. I went through some management training for fork that brought that out. I have been managing people for many years and spent a decent chunk of years debugging and writing code. The jobs where I had my hands in code were very comfortable for me. I have been thinking of trying to move back in that direction because I liked it.

I consider myself a "realist". I wouldn't say I'm cynical but I don't readily take what anybody says or anything I read as gospel. I'm more of a cold hard facts kind of guy. Not that I don't formulate and share my own opinions of course.;)

Do you remember bologna sandwiches? My mom was the best at making sandwiches. We would have a posh tea party together with some of her prized China(baby fingers sticking out picking up your tea cup) All the crust cut off the bologna and mustard 1/4’s. What a beautiful memory. I can almost smell her signature perfume, Shalamar. I remember loving bologna so much. It was a to go snack as well. Puts piece of cheese in the middle and roll it up.

Anyhow I digress but a found a song about bologna lol

Let me analyze and think about this for a bit, I will get back to you!

You used to be indecisive, but now you’re not so sure.

My mom wore Ciara, I have her last bottle of it. And my dad's Old Spice aftershave.

I still love bologna sandwiches. Although these days herself has eschewed the regular (lips and a-holes variety...old meat cutter joke) for the less caloric laden chicken or turkey based. Of course I don't have the heart to tell her its still the mechanically de-boned "remnant" parts. But absolutely no plant based anything thank you very much. Plants are what "food" eats in my house! Although I will give in to some cubed tofu in a nice home made hot & sour soup.
Back in my childhood days when Mom brought home the big chunk of unsliced bologna, we were sure to get an evening meal of fried bologna and usually some fried or scrambled eggs to go with it. Any left over potatoes went along side as well. And I don't think Hello Fresh does that!:D

“Eyebrows and elbow skin” was how a friend described cheap sausages.

All the time when I was a kid, the whole family watched it. It was brilliant. Because it wasn't just a comedy; it discussed many of the cultural and political separations at the time, and did a pretty good job of representing both sides of an argument (unlike today).

Ah the good old days when comedy was just that: comedy. Often irreverent, and certain slurs were not meant in a mean way but (as in Archie's case) an educationally exposing manner that was, I believe, meant to tell us that some things are just not proper treatment of our fellow human beings. We could actually laugh at our own personal frailties and hang-ups and eventually realize that we were really stupid and had a long way to go. Still do sadly. And there were many of them: Good Times, Sanford & Son, Maude, The Jeffersons, Monty Python...shows that would be so far across the lines today that they wouldn't even be considered by networks or production standards now. But these days it's not only fine to have blatant displays of what was back then totally "aberrant" behavior, it's actually bragged about and expected.
Somehow I think we have regressed big time. I'm not a "goody two shoes" or anything, but dayum, things have really gotten off kilter. I think I preferred the days when a drag race was outside the town limits between dudes with a couple of fast cars.

I am so proud that I got through some terrible days lately that I thought I couldn’t! But I did.
Stay strong and sing along to your favorite song and your troubles be gone! Well, maybe not literally, but you will be happier with your favorite song on your mind and tongue ;~)) Glad you made it through the latest!!!

Plowed the drive for the first time this year. Didn't really need it but I figured why not since we're supposed to get a bit more snow before the bottom drops out of the thermometer tomorrow. Had to clear the sidewalks and deck anyway so I figured what the heck. But it sure doesn't look like normal for this time of year. Last January was mild when we redid the siding on the house but we did have more snow. The last photo was two winters ago, and that was just the beginning. Almost got to the point where I needed a bobcat and a dump truck to deal with the snow, but I managed with the blade on the SxS.

@Daryl Jones beautiful wintery scene pictures. That’s absolute heaven.

I just got back from a walk with the doggos. Just as bad as getting your toddlers dressed. Booties, winter sweater, winter parkas, harnesses and leashes. 20 minutes later and we were off . Nasty nasty wind along with the blowing snow. The sidewalks are really dangerous. Almost fell but regained my balance.

Pls be safe and careful.

I would say best you got the equipment out to make sure all is running proper rather than waiting for the big one to find out something was amiss! Looks like a great spot to call home!!
