Randall Smith has started telling the Mesa Boogie story on his YouTube channel. He’s a good storyteller. 2 vids so far, how it started and building the shop. They are good watches for sure.

Edit, not sure why the link text is in German?!

Thanks for the link! Will watch.

Gotta hand it to Mesa for an awful lot of good things over the years.

What's kinda crazy to me is that Carlos Santana seems directly responsible for popularizing my favorite guitar and amp brands.
You know, I hadn't thought about that before!

I don't know C. Santana of course, so this could all be in my head. But he seems to like helping people do good things. Most people aren't like that, he seems to go out of his way.

I'd heard parts of these stories before, it's great to hear more detail!

Also pivotal in the SE program and putting affordable in instruments into the hands of young players.

Does that include used Gibsons? ‘Cause I kinda want an SG someday…

Edit to add I’ve been enjoying the heck out of Randall’s Ramblings.
I'm still gonna get used Boogie for sure :) I have a thing for a Tripple Crown lately.

I have my Gibson phase behind me. I used to collect Zakk Wylde LPs and Vs. That is before I got married ;)
