While I am home bound , I have to cook while Mrs. Gibson is away at her "High Stress" job.. Soo I have to fend for myself..Todays menu is Ramen with Rotel cheese dip and sliced Hebrew National hot dogs all mixed together...No Im not fresh off a bong hit... But I would like to hear if anyone has a good "Ramen Recipe" ... Starving muscians usually have a way to eat cheap and tasty..

I like to toss a raw egg into mine just before taking it off the stove and then mixing in in real fast.

I also toss in an egg and I like to add some veggies too. Some precooked shredded chicken is good with the chicken flavor.

I'm kinda like Hans but I cook the eggs and ramen seperately and then mix it together afterwords. For a long time that was my hangover breakfast the next morning

Could've fooled me! Sounds like stoner chow from back in the day!

30 ways to upgrade ramen

I had to post to an external site for this one. I love food and do a lot of cooking, including making all my 8 month old daughter's baby food from scratch. I stopped eating ramen several years ago when I found out I inherited my family's cholesterol issues. I started paying more attention to nutrition, stopped eating at fast food hamburger chains, and cut out some of the really processed stuff like ramen. It's basically just saturated fat, salt and refined starch - there's probably more nutrition in a Snickers bar.

First time I cooked a batch of Ramen noodles in front of my wife she asked me what the hell I was doing when I put it into a bowl,........she spent four years of college cooking them, draining them, and eating only the noodles.....she did not know it was soup! I never let her forget that one....

You are right...Enriched U-238 probably has more of the RDA than Ramen..Is Mr. Beef a vegan?..Oh congrats on the 8 month old..I have a 6month old niece and she is a handful!

Open package.
Open seasoning.
Dump half of seasoning in bag.

I used to do instant coffee and the dehydrated pork pattie from an MRE that same way...

Spicyaki Ramen recipe

1 and 1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
1/2 teaspoon honey
ramen flavor packet (chicken or pork are best)
break ramen noodles in half at the fold and add to the liquid
bring to a boil
cook until noodles are al dente, let sit 5 minutes in hot liquid, pour in a bowl and enjoy...

All those flavors cook into the noodles and the small amount of soup you have left is great for a head cold/sore throat and it tastes UH-MAZING!!!

Wonder who the hell bought ramen, check ingredients, put back on shelf, open bottle of wine.

Big surprise; I'm yet again the weirdo in the group. I've never had Ramen noodles, or soup, or sheepdip, or whatever it is. I've seen it and heard others talk about it, but I've never tried it.

You're not alone. Maybe I'll try some of these recipes one day. The one where you sprinkle powder and dump them in your mouth sounds good.

"CRACK NOODLES" .....Creamy chicken ramen with hot sauce, cheese whiz, and topped with crushed corn chips........YUM!
