Ok, we scored two ragbrai gigs this week. We play Ottumwa tonight and Washington tomorrow night. It will be fun but it will also be crazy with all the bicycle riders.

For those that don't know. It's the Registers Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa and it's crazy.

I just installed adjustable bridge and lampshades on my McCarty today so I think I will rock it for these next two shows.
so far I have M pickups, rosewood pickup rings and toggle switch cap, prs adjustable bridge and amber lampshades. I think I will install a push pull vol pot to complete my mods on this guitar.

I think I will have fun!!!!

Sweet! Sound like a blast! I grew up in Davenport and seem to remember RAGBRAI ending there? I feel like I've been to the closing event as a little kid.

Nice mods on the McCarty too! Although, I don't recall a Modified Monday post....

Sounds like a blast! We played the Tomahawk fall ride some years back and it was a great time. I'm not even into bikes, but I like to look. Sounds like a blast for you since you ride!

Ragbrai is a bicycle event.. 20,000 people ride across Iowa and I've heard they drink a bit.

It was fun though..met some new friends too.

I group of 5 couldn't get a taxi thursday night back to the park where the bikers were to stay. One of them saw that I drove a 15 passenger van and very politely asked if I could give them a lift. Since we were done loading out I said yes. They were cool, I'm cool, so it was good!
