Question regarding CE24 Semi-Hollow

Heya, everyone!

I'm kind of new to all the possible customizations available for PRS guitars and what you can and can't do outside of Private Stock and so on.

I'm fairly certain I want my next guitar to be a CE24 semi-hollow in either amber or sunburst, but while browsing the web I found this odd finish I haven't seen on this model before. It's not on their website, either. How do I get the guitar in this particular color, if PRS don't seem to offer it? The finish is a "Aquableux Purple Burst"

Edit: the pictures uploaded are a bit gray compared to the actual pictures. Otherwise, just Google "PRS Ce24 semi hollow" and it'll show somewhere around the top!

They do limited runs and one offs all the time and various dealers pick them up. I would set an alert on a Reverb search for what you want.

That guitar you saw was just beautiful. Damn shame my cupboard is overflowing. If you have your heart set on a certain color, do an eBay search for PRs CE 24 as well as reverb. People make listing mistakes a lot. That’s enabled me to make more money flipping guitars. Stay patient and you will find.

I'm not sure which color I want, if I'm being honest. Initially, I was planning on getting the SE Hollowbody II Piezo in peacock blue, but have since shifted over to the CE24, but this finish is just like the peacock blue!

I found this one with a good price tag as well, for just under $2300 USD, so I'm considering getting it!

Dude ... That guitar is so pretty... it is disturbing !

It looks prettier than the SE HB II Piezo as the flame on this is smokin '

If this is a special dealer run ... who is the dealer ? Don't worry, I will not be swooping in to cop, as this one exceeds the Toy Budget for Fiscal '21 ...

When I bought my CE24, I was looking for amber or dark cherry sunburst. Sweetwater had a demo in the sunburst so I went with it. The first PRS I ever saw in person back in 1995 or so was amber so I’ve always associated that color with these guitars. Not really a fan of the black burst finishes though. Probably because I don’t like black backs mostly. I like that you can see all the wood on the lighter finishes. I’d love to have the semi hollow version one day in amber.
