So yeah, you guys were right. Killer guitar. Even prettier in person than I expected. I tried a couple PRSs in the past and didn't bond with them at all - S2 Singlecut semi hollow and a Vela, which on paper looked like I guitar I would have loved - but I played a couple DGTs in the distant past that really impressed me. This DGT has fantastic clear PAF tones, the split tones sound fantastic (I'm mainly a Tele guy so that was important), it plays great, and the trem is one of the best I've used. I'm running it with .11s and five springs and so far I'm liking the thickness of the tone and stability of the trem. I have an old 70s Les Paul that I've had since I was a kid, and I expected to find a lot of overlap between the LP and DGT. Not really the case - the DGT is its own thing and that's fine with me.
Still dialing in the setup but this is going to be a keeper. I do plan to do the split coil resistor mod, in fact the resistors are arriving Monday.

I've got an 08. Great guitars. Nitro finish dings really easy though

I was really lucky on this one - barely a ding to be seen. I've seen a few extreme examples though, especially the early ones that had the nitro issues. Yikes.
Play it, and let me know. I take good care of mine, but it definitely gets played. The finish is real delicate on mine.
