Question about Tremol-No

Can Tremol-no *completely immobilize* the trem? If so, I'll buy one. The trem of my S2 Custom 22 is currently blocked with coins shoved in the trem cavity along with 4 springs. The trem wiggles a little bit. 5 springs completely immobilize the trem, but adding one more spring results in a not-so-pleasing wolf-tone at the 10th fret on the B string (adding one more spring must change the resonance frequency of my guitar).

Been using one in my Private Stock for over a year with no issues. I pretty much have it in stoptail mode 90% of the time.

I bought one last year but haven't installed it yet. We don't do any crazy tunings in our normal pitch and use McCarty for D and drop C.
