Hi, I have an SE Standard 24 and replaced the stock tuners with Grover 406C locking tuners. The tuners were fairly easy to turn when tuning and I just tightened the screws on the side of the tuning pegs. I tightened them as much as I could with a Phillips screwdriver and now they are very stiff. I can turn them, but I've never had tuning pegs this hard to turn. Does anyone know if it will mess up the tuners or does it not matter how hard they are to turn? Thanks for any help!

The button screws are too tight, back off the screws a bit and they should be easier to turn.
