Query re: Custom22

Does anyone remember when PRS discontinued the Custom22 for a couple of years. I seem to recall it was around 2010.
I also believe that they brought out a limited edition of 200 CU22units in four different colors with "soapbar" pickups shortly after.
Anyone else remember this or am I suffering from "false memory syndrome" (lol). Thanks.

Nope - pretty close. They were discontinued in 2010 in favor of 25th anniversary models (there were several that were discontinued).

Don't remember about the limited edition run, though, unless it was the run of CU22s with three soapbars and a rosewood fretboard. (Sorry, when I first read that, I immediately thought two soapbars, then remembered as I was typing about the three pickup model - which I should have remembered because I HAVE ONE!!! DOH!)

Mine has the three soapbars, but it has a maple neck and fretboard. I want to spec a PS build, but something has to go to help finance it and this is one I'm considering selling, but I would like to be sure that my info is correct.

The maple fretboard version predated the rosewood ones.
