Queen - Montreal

I never got the chance to see Queen in their heyday. But, the Mrs and I did see them with Adam Lambert singing back in 2016 or 2017. They were awesome! And, I was fortunate enough to see Brian May supporting his solo album, "Back to the Light", when he was opening for Guns n Roses on their Use Your Illusion tour. May was fantastic. One of my favorite tones, ever. G-n-R on the other hand.....let down.

I never saw Queen in their heyday, either - only had one semi-realistic opportunity, and it would have been a long-shot. But I did see them w/Adam in 2019. Concert of the year, and considering I saw the Who, Iron Maiden, ELO, and Paul Simon that year, and the final Kiss tour twice, that's saying something. Awesome barely covers it. As great as ELO was, they kind of paled because Queen was the night before. Hard to follow that. Huge moment for me getting to hear Brian play live.
