The NF3 with maple neck and Korina body looks mighty fine, but if I had to pick one, it would be the NF McCarty.

I was thinking - if it was me and I wanted to add to my current lineup, I'd choose the NF3. If I was looking to replace something in my current lineup, then the McCarty. Then I looked at your sig and see you already have two McCarty-based models - DGT and 408 - so for you, the NF3.

Ahh... I'm sticking with the NF3 then, but it totally depends on what other PRS you may already have.

my guitar partner has a NF3 and loves it. it's now his only guitar. i had a mccarty 25th NF and loved it, BUT, hated the jumbo frets. sold it, bought a 07 mccarty and put 2 narrowfields in it, and love it to death. you cant go wrong with either one, but i know the NF3 is gonna be cheaper.
ps- by the way, they will sound different. the mccarty nf will be brighter sounding than the nf3, but the nf3 will be more versatile.
